The cobbler at work
Steady the hand that gave the first buff
Well worn shoes at sight
Tales from travels held there in
The old hand nimbly polished to shine
A second coating, double the shine

Twice the effect is another
Amplifying with such clarity our live’s path
The way made plain
Our feet shod with a lamp
Whilst a light our path doth shine
To and onward purpose row

The intensity of the throw of light
Brighter the days
Our fixed gaze brings about
That in looking we may hope the same:
For from the womb, to one their assignment given
